Refund policy

Our mission is to provide a great experience for our customers every time, but sometimes there are conditions beyond our control which may cause a delay in shipping or a problem with your purchase.  The best way to guarantee a great experience is to review our shipping guidelines and keep them in mind when placing orders.

Shipping Accuracy Check your addresses carefully! Our delivery guarantee extends only to correctly addressed orders. We cannot guarantee the condition of the package if the delivery service has to reroute. We guarantee delivery only to the provided address confirmed on the order acknowledgement.

No weekend deliveries available. We ship orders Monday through Thursday.  No orders are shipped on Friday or weekends, no exceptions.  Orders are shipped according to the method you select at check out (Next Day, 2 Day,  3 Day Air or Ground.  Certain shipping options may not be available for certain locations.

No P.O. Unfortunately we are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO, FPO, DPO or International addresses.

Refunds and Replacements Due to the perishable nature of our product, we do not accept returns. In the event that the product you receive is defective or spoiled, you must contact us within 7 days from receiving your order.  We will do our very best to address your issue and provide a replacement if feasible. We reserve the right to limit refunds and replacements, and we can only offer one replacement per consumer.

Ordering Policy Orders can be placed via our website at www.cafechocolatny.com or by calling us at 516.792.2462.  For security purposes we do not accept order information via email.

Cancellation policy or change of order Any change in order including cancellations must be communicated to us before 1pm ET the same business day. If outside of this timeline, we cannot guarantee the change or cancellation.

Handling and Freshness All products shipped from Coco Jolie are shipped fresh from our location in Cedarhurst, NY.

Other defects must be reported within 30 days from receipt of order. We are committed to using only the highest quality ingredients free from artificial preservatives.  When properly stored, our chocolates will remain fresh and delicious for approximately 2-4  weeks, depending on the specific product.  Please feel free to contact us if you have questions about the shelf life of your product..
