Shipping FAQ

When will my order ship?

We do our best to ship your order within 1-2 business days, Monday through Thursday.  Sometimes there are delays we cannot control, due to weather or production volume.  If you need your order by a certain date, please contact us when placing your order so we can ensure we meet your timeline.


I live in a place with warm weather.  Will my chocolate melt in shipping?

Orders that are shipping to warmer states will be packed in insulated packaging with ice packs.  We ship all orders with insulation and ice packs during the warmer months of the year.  We are always monitoring weather conditions across the country so that we can pack your order appropriately. 

How much will shipping my order cost?

The best way to get accurate shipping costs is to add your items to your shopping cart and begin the checkout process (you will not yet be charged for your order).  You will be presented with several shipping options, and shown the pricing for each option. 

Why is the shipping cost expensive?

Shipping costs fluctuate throughout the year.  We obtain the best business shipping rates we can from UPS, but during the summer months, we can only offer 2 Day or Next Day shipping to warmer areas to ensure your order arrives in tact.  We are continually evaluating shipping options so we can bring you the best price without sacrificing the integrity of the chocolate.

My order arrived damaged or late.  What should I do?

If you received a damaged package please contact us as quickly as possible so that we can figure out what happened and take appropriate steps to replace the package or reimburse you.   If your package arrives late, please contact us so we can determine if it was a production issue on our end or a UPS issue, and we will work with you to rectify the problem to the best of our ability.

I selected Next Day or 2 Day delivery, but my order isn't here yet. 

If you placed your order after 3:00pm on a Thursday, we cannot guarantee that it will go out the same day.  If that is the case, your order will ship out on the following Monday, as we do not ship on Fridays because we don't want your order sitting in a UPS warehouse with unpredictable temperature conditions over the weekend.   We do this to ensure your order arrives in the same condition it was in when it left us.  Please keep this timeline in mind when placing your order or contact us if you need assistance in scheduling your order.
